The most beautiful wildlife parks and local culture

Before we delve into all the beauty that Kenya has to offer, it is good to know why we pay attention to this destination. Masai Mara – National Reserve

A nature reserve with different types of landscapes and numerous animal species, including the big five. The establishment of the reserve as a protected area has made it possible for the Masai to maintain their way of life. Masai Mara is the place to be for lovers of wildlife and landscape photography.

Samburu - National Park

The Samburu national park is fantastic in combination with the local people, also called warriors. This population group is also closely related to the Masai. The park is also rich in plant, mammal and bird species. The bird population alone consists of more than 450 species.

Solio Ranch – Game Reserve

The Solio Ranch is a fenced, privately protected area dedicated to rhino conservation. The reserve also shelters zebra, buffalo, giraffe and several species of antelope. All the usual predators including the big cats are also present. Unlike the Masai Mara and the Samburu NP, the Solio Ranch is less known to the general public, but that makes it a true hidden gem.

Lake Nakuru - National Park

The Lake Nakuru National Park is one of the most famous parks in Kenya and is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. It is best known for its flamingos and the 400 other bird species. The park is also a habitat for more than 100 endangered rhinos divided between the black and white rhinos, the endangered Rothschild giraffe and over 50 other animal species. It is striking that this park is largely under water, which, together with the many flamingos, makes it a perfect photo location.
