We’ve carefully put together a route throughout northern India. A nice variety of authentic places such as Varanasi and Jaipur, the famous Camel Fair festival in Pushkar, world wonder Taj Mahal in Agra and wildlife in Ranthambore. Get ready to be swept away by a fascinating world only India can offer.
Day 1: Varanasi
After checking in at the hotel, we head out to capture the city in all its authenticity. This is the real India, where time has stood still. We visit Dashashwamedh, along the holy river Ganges. We meet pilgrims and Hindu holy men, unique in their existence. In the evening we join the Ganga Arti ceremony, an intense ritual that will make a lasting impression and is a guarantee for amazing photos
Day 2: Varanasi
We go out on the water early in the morning to capture the spiritual character of Varanasi in beautiful lighting. The sunrise provides us with amazing rays of light, a gorgeous sight seen from the water. In the afternoon we check out the many alleys where you can still find old crafts. Spectacular photos guaranteed! Having practiced the night before, this evening we head back to another Ganga Arti ceremony. Let’s see if we can get even more beautiful photos.
Day 3: Varanasi
Before we go to Agra, we try to capture India in its purest form. You’re free to photograph what you love most. You can also choose to visit Dhamekh Stupa, where Budha spread his wisdom.
Day 4: Agra Taj Mahal
Agra, home of the Taj Mahal, one of the seven world wonders. We want you to experience the beauty of this place, and when using the right techniques you can take amazing photos.
We use the sunset to photograph the garden in gorgeous lighting. The local bazars are also perfect to capture.
Day 5: Agra Taj Mahal & Jaipur
We get up early to use the magical light during sunrise to capture Taj Mahal in all its beauty. A model in traditional clothing will also be in front of your lens today. On our way to Jaipur we stop at a local school for a photoshoot. At night, we head out into colorful Jaipur. Also known as the pink city, it’s a paradise for photographers. Like Varanasi, this city is pure and authentic.
Day 6: Jaipur
Roaming the streets and enjoying old buildings and temples, the awakening city and market, but most of all the colorful people. Lots of reasons to wake up early and use the best light for our photos. There’s time to visit the Amber fortress or to enjoy a free afternoon. Tiger Fort is the place to be at sunset.
Day 7: Jaipur & Pushkar Camel Fair
Jaipurs “business card” is Hawa Mahal, also known as Palace of Winds. This is our scene at sunrise today. Before we head out to Pushkar for the Camel Fair, you have one more chance to capture the awakening city. In the evening we visit the fairground to get a first impression of the Camel Fair.
Day 8: Pushkar Camel Fair
We spend the day at the Pushkar Camel Fair. There are numerous options for photography; silhouettes and horse races or the best decorated camel, the possibilities are endless. The Pushkar Camel Fair is an annual event visited by many photographers and you have the opportunity to capture this fair in your own way.
Day 9: Pushkar Camel Fair
With the experience of the previous day still fresh in our minds, we get up early. The beautiful light of the sunrise and an awakening Camel fair, the day after, give you enough potential for sparkling photos. In the afternoon we set course for Ranthambore National Park.
Day 10: Ranthambore
A full day with game drives. Both in the morning and in the late afternoon, we hunt for tigers and jaguars, guided by our very own gypsies. Ranthambore is one of India’s most famous parks for spotting wildlife. The park is divided in zones where tigers have their own territory. The park has a healthy population of tigers, which improves the chances of spotting these magnificent cats. Wildlife photography at its best!
Day 11: Ranthambore
Another day filled with game drives. After a fascinating journey its delightful to be photographing wildlife in luscious nature. An amazing end to this tour, with a lot of excitement in tracking the animals and an oasis of peace at the same time.
Besides the tiger and jaguar, Ranthambore is also home to crocodiles and several species of reindeer. There’s also a large number of birds to be found. A safari you won’t forget easily.
Day 12: Return home
The tour comes to an end. Together we travel back to Delhi by train to catch our flight home.
