More than photography trips
In the winter landscape workshop we hunt for the most beautiful light during the golden hour around sunrise. We do this at Landgoed De Hamert, a beautiful area that is part of De Maasduinen National Park, one of the most beautiful nature reserves in the Netherlands.
Aspects that we’ll look at are color, white balance, lighting and camera settings. Capturing fog and movement of clouds at sunrise (using exposure time and diaphragm). Using the landscape in your compositions and the advantage of photographing with filters. This all while the world awakens with the first rays of sun and tweeting birds. Spectacular photos and a great feeling guaranteed!
The transformation of the landscape is fantastic during the winter season. A reat scenery for the art of photography. All the way in the early hours of the morning, when the last light of the Civil Twilight, still a bit before the blue and the golden hour arrives. A beautiful blanket of snow is a bonus, but certainly not a must-have for sparkling winter photos.
What does the course of the workshop look like?
After a short introduction we go over some theory about nature- and landscape photography, which also includes looking at our equipment and location. Photography level isn’t important, both beginners and advanced photographers are welcome. We walk to the best places of the estate, making sure to catch the magic of the sunrise. Next, we move on to nature photography. However, if you wish to continue with landscape photography you are free to do so.
