Guidance:

During this online course you will be guided by two experienced, passionate and professional photographers.

Both from Burgundian Limburg, we cherish our appreciation for nature, culture and diversity. Our goal is not only to provide a platform where photographers can grow, but also to continuously innovate and inspire people to capture the beauty of the world.

For us, photography is much more than just taking pictures; it encourages us to see places from a different perspective, from noticing different light conditions during the day to determining the position of the stars and interacting with local people. We believe in the power of photography to tell stories and show the world at its most beautiful. You’re more than welcome to join us!

Discover an engaged community of like-minded photographers on our Huddle platform. The community forum offers a space to share messages, ask questions and exchange experiences. Frequently asked questions

Hoe begin je met astrofotografie als beginner?
Start with a camera that has manual settings, a fast wide-angle lens, and a tripod. First, learn to work with shutter speed, ISO, and manual focus before moving on to more complex techniques.
Many photographers start with an aperture of f/2.8, an ISO between 1600 and 3200, and a shutter speed of around 15 to 20 seconds. The ideal settings depend on the lens and the conditions.
You'll learn to photograph stars, capture the Milky Way, focus in the dark, create compositions, and apply post-processing to optimally develop night photos.
Bright wide-angle lenses between 14mm and 24mm with a maximum aperture of f/2.8 or larger are popular for photographing the Milky Way and the night sky.
