Travelmarks-photography.. your experience! Untill clicks!

This is a carefully curated photo tour along the most beautiful spots of the Opal Coast. The diversity that the Opal Coast has to offer makes it a fantastic sustainable destination for a photography trip. And all that close to home! You can start the journey from the Netherlands, with even an extra pick-up point in Belgium. A richly filled memory card and a fantastic experience guaranteed. Let yourself be surprised!

Day 1
We leave in the morning from the joint pick-up point in Venlo. There is an extra pick-up point in Antwerp, if that is easier for you. So the fun already starts during the drive to the Opal Coast, where we get to know each other. We stay the entire trip in the picturesque town of Wimereux, which acts as our base. All photo locations are then within reach, so that we have as much photography time as possible. Of course, after checking in and having satisfied the inner person, we immediately set off. Long exposure photography is on the menu, at one of the many beautiful beaches the Opal Coast has to offer.

Day 2
The ideal of this time of year is that we can get out and about at an acceptable time for the sunrise. Despite being on the west coast, there are definitely some fantastic spots where we can shoot the morning light. Point de la Crèche, Fort Vauban and of course Phare du Cap Gris-Nez are good examples for a sunrise shoot. Every day we look at where the conditions are best, after all we have time enough to visit all spots. In the afternoon we visit the Atlantic Wall Battery Todt museum, so you get a good impression and understand the history of this region. Of course we go out at sunset to end with the most beautiful light of the day. We know the most beautiful places, so every day is a new treat.

Day 3
Waking up in time for another fantastic day of photography. Waking up to the morning light is the way to start the day, especially in an environment like the Opal Coast. Today Les Deux Caps are on the schedule. Both offer a beautiful setting, for sunrise and sunset. And what about wildlife? A seal is regularly seen here, the Jan van Gent dives into the sea and many birds nest in the chalk walls. As if that wasn't enough of a treat, we also visit the shipwreck Epave du lord Grey. This can only be photographed at low tide and provides spectacular pictures!

Day 4
A new day with new impressions. Because you can never get enough of a beautiful sunrise, we bring you to a true 'hidden gem' along the coast. Here you can wake up in peace and take very nice long exposure shots. We like to offer variety and diversity and that's what we're going to experience this afternoon. In Boulogne sur Mer you can photograph incredibly cool street arts. Paintings and graffiti art, which are applied as high as a house. A joy to see and to capture. Of course we help you with the compositions and settings to create dynamic photos. Before sunset, we settle down at a long pier with a lighthouse at the end… sparkling photos guaranteed!

Day 5
Of course we make the most of this last day. Once again we can take enchantingly beautiful photos at sunrise… that's what we're going to do! After checking out we will stay in the region to make the most of it before we set course for the Netherlands. On the way we conclude with a well-deserved dinner and we look back on an exciting journey. So many impressions, so many beautiful photos, new photo friends, something to look back at when you're back home! After returning home, we quickly schedule a moment for a photo review, where we share each other's photos.
