Travelmarks photography.. your experience!
We’ve carefully put together a route throughout northern India. A nice variety of authentic places such as Varanasi and Jaipur, the famous Holi Color Festival, world wonder Taj Mahal in Agra and wildlife in Ranthambore. Get ready to be swept away by a fascinating world only India can offer.
Day 1: Delhi
After reception in Delhi and the welcome meeting we head towards Ranthambore. A relaxing train ride where we can get to know each other better, before the program starts with two days full of excitement during the tiger safaris.
Day 2: Ranthambore
A full day with game drives. Both in the morning and in the late afternoon, we hunt for tigers and jaguars, in the gypsies. Ranthambore is one of India’s most famous parks for spotting wildlife. The park is divided in zones where tigers have their own territory. The park has a healthy population of tigers, which improves the chances of spotting these magnificent cats. Wildlife photography at its best!
Day 3: Ranthambore
Another day filled with game drives. After a fascinating journey its delightful to be photographing wildlife in luscious nature. An amazing end to this tour, with a lot of excitement in tracking the animals and an oasis of peace at the same time.
Besides the tiger and jaguar, Ranthambore is also home to crocodiles and several species of reindeer. There’s also a large number of birds to be found. A safari you won’t forget easily. In the evening we train towards Jaipur.
Day 4: Jaipur
Roaming the streets and enjoying old buildings and temples, the awakening city and market, but most of all the colorful people. Lots of reasons to wake up early and use the best light for our photos. There’s time to visit the Amber fortress or to enjoy a free afternoon. Tiger Fort is the place to be at sunset.
Day 5: Holi Color Festival
We spend the day at the Holi Color Festival. There are numerous options for photography; the possibilities are endless. The Holi Color Festival is an annual event visited by many photographers and you have the opportunity to capture this fair in your own way. Be aware though, you will be dipped in colors aswell!
Day 6: Jaipur
With the experience of the previous day still fresh in our minds, we get up early. The beautiful light of the sunrise and an awakening Jaipur, the day after, give you enough potential for sparkling photos. The calling card of Jaipur, the 'Hawa Mahal' or palace of the winds is our scenery for the sunrise. We also visit an Indian family to celebrate Holi Color together. A real local experience where you experience it as the Indians do.
Day 7: Jaipur & Agra
We use the morning to capture the awakening city. After breakfast we continue our photo tour to Agra, to capture the world famous Taj Mahal in a unique way. We use the sunset to photograph the Taj Mahal from the garden at the back in beautiful light.
Day 8: Agra Taj Mahal
We get up early to capture the Taj Mahal at its best with the magical light of sunrise. We also arrange a model in traditional clothing who will pose for your lens. The afternoon is free to spend as you wish. In the evening we take the night train to Varanasi, a true highlight of the trip.
Day 9: Agra & Varanasi
After arrival and check-in at the hotel we set off to photograph Varanasi in all its authentic splendor. This is the real India, here time has stood still. We visit the Dashashwamedh Ghat, bordering the holy river Ganges. Here we encounter pilgrims and Hindu holy men, unique in their existence.
Day 10: Varanasi
We leave early to capture the spiritual character of Varanasi in beautiful light from the water. The sunrise accompanies us with the first rays of the sun, which is a beautiful sight from the river. In the afternoon we explore the numerous alleys where traditional crafts are still practiced. Spectacular photos guaranteed. With the practice of the day before I have the opportunity to capture the Ganga Arti ceremony in a special way.
Day 11: Varanasi
We visit the Dashashwamedh Ghat, bordering the holy river Ganges. Here we encounter pilgrims and Hindu holy men, with whom we organize a cool photoshoot. You also have the opportunity to visit Dhamekh Stupa, the place where Buddha spread his wisdom.
Day 12: Varanasi
The authentic and oldest city of India is one that you will embrace. You can spend days here photographing and feasting your eyes, it is our favorite place in India. We have time and space to convert your last wishes into sparkling photos, before we leave for Delhi for the return journey.
Day 13: Return home
Depending on your return flight, this day is dedicated to arriving in the Netherlands. We look back on an exciting journey to never forget, with many beautiful moments and of course sparkling photos.
