More than photography trips
Iceland, the land of rough nature, peace, space, volcanoes, glaciers and geysers. Iceland is so much more than the Golden Circle, it is a true paradise for every photographer! One landscape is even more beautiful than the other. You will experience this during this photography trip 'Iceland in Summer'. The peace and quiet that prevails here makes you want to stay! Only in the months of July and August the 'Highland route' is open, the road through the untouched interior. The reason we go in the summer, also the period when the puffins stay on the island
We are deliberately going for 13 days, in a shorter time frame you simply miss too much of all the beauty.
During this trip you can enjoy all the beauty that Iceland has to offer in peace, there is no time pressure. In addition, there is room for various workshops on landscape, nature, macro and astrophotography. A photography trip in Iceland is an unforgettable experience, which you can reminisce about for a long time at home with your self-made images!

Travelmarks-photography.. your experience! Untill clicks!
A carefully composed photo trip along Iceland's most beautiful spots is waiting for you. Extraterrestrial landscapes alternate with breathtaking views, this country is food for your camera. We deliberately travel in the summer, to be able to travel the 'Highland route' to the unspoilt interior. This is also the period that the puffins stay on the island. A richly filled memory card guaranteed. Let us surprise you!
Day 1
Reception in Keflavik. The advantage of Iceland is that there are special elements in every part of the country. After reception we set sail for Fludir, our accommodation for the first two nights. On the way we pass the beautiful lake Kleifarvatn and the impressive waterfalls Faxafoss and Gullfoss.
Day 2
We start the day with a visit to Strokkur, which like Gullfoss belongs to the golden circle of Iceland. Then the real work begins and the rest of the day is dedicated to a true off-road experience, with Nýifoss as the final destination. This is an amazing experience that is guaranteed to stay with you.
Day 3
We set sail for the famous colored mountains of Kerlingarfjöll, one of the highlights of this trip. You can't prepare for the impact of this natural spectacle. You will fall from one surprise to another at the sight of the beauty of Kerlingarfjöll! We end the day at Hveravellir, a geothermal area hidden inland, another treat!
Day 4
We stay at Hveravellir, so we can also capture this natural wonder in the beautiful morning light. After breakfast we set sail for Blönduós. We will visit the beautiful Kolugljúfur canyon and waterfall. In the evening, Hvitserkur awaits, always proud and rock solid in the water.
Day 5
After checking out, the excursion to the funny and always beautiful puffins is planned. These are best admired on the islet Drangey, exactly what we will do. In the afternoon we head for Myvatn, where we will photograph the mighty waterfall Godafoss.
Day 6
We take the pace out a bit and stay two nights in Myvatn. This gives us ample time to capture some of the highlights again. The most beautiful geothermal area of Iceland, Námafjall and the crater Krafla are examples.
Day 7
You'll find beautiful lava fields here and Iceland's most powerful waterfall, Detifoss, is also within easy reach. We are spoilt for choice as Lake Myvatn, which is considered the most beautiful lake in Iceland, is also just around the corner. Good thing we have time to fill our tickets with all this natural beauty.
Day 8
Day eight is the only real travel day in the program. We slowly descend through the eastern fjords towards the south. We have some stops where we can decide as a group. Besides, you never get bored in Iceland and driving itself is a pleasure.
Day 9
We have entered the territory of majestic glaciers and ice lakes. We visit Diamond beach and the ice lake Jökulsárlón, where giant ice floes float by like ice cubes. It is a treat for the eye to see these ice blocks glittering on the black sand. We have plenty of time and visit the glacier Fjallsárlón.
Day 10
You can't get enough of these surroundings. Fortunately, we still have the glacier Svínafellsjökull, which welcomes us with open arms. In the afternoon we set sail for Vík, where we will photograph the fairytale-like rock formation Dyrhólaey in the evening.
Day 11
We have one more highlight in store, at least that's how we can call the picture-perfect rock formation Reynisdrangar! If you have ever wanted to literally touch a glacier, today is the moment. Sólheimajökull can be approached to the foot of the glacier, which delivers beautiful pictures.
Day 12
We can't leave out the Skogafoss waterfall, just like the plane wreck, located on the black beach of Solheimafjara. You see, also this region of Iceland has one highlight after the other. We take the opportunity to enjoy the best of it, during these last days of the trip.
Day 13
With great reluctance, the last day has already begun. On the way to Keflavik we pass the last stopovers, which we of course take with us. What a journey, what an experience, what an experience!
