Day to day shedule
Er ligt een zorgvuldig samengestelde route door noordelijk India voor je klaar. Een welkome afwisseling tussen authentieke plaatsen zoals Varanasi en Jaipur, het befaamde Diwali festival, het wereldwonder de Taj Mahal in Agra en de Sadhu Holymen. Laat je meevoeren naar een fascinerende wereld zoals deze alleen in India bestaat.
Dag 1: Delhi – Jaipur
After being welcomed in Delhi and the welcome meeting, we will travel by domestic flight to Jaipur, where our fascinating journey will begin.
Dag 2: Jaipur
We rise early to take advantage of the day's most beautiful light. We stroll the streets where ancient buildings, old temples, the awakening city, the bustling market, and above all, the colorful residents give us ample reason to get up early.
Dag 3: Diwali Festival
Deze dag staat het Diwali Festival of Lights tot je beschikking. Het festival staat voor de terugkeer van de ‘hero’ en het goede dat het kwade overwint. Zoals de naam al doet vermoeden wordt dit gevierd met sprankelende lichtjes en een vuurwerkshow als afsluiting. Eén van de vele Indiase festivals die je zeker een kker meegemaakt moet hebben.
Day 4: Jaipur
We'll visit Amber Fort and the Water Palace with an Indian model. We'll photograph the beautiful colored doors, so characteristic of Rajasthan. Jaipur's hallmark, the 'Hawa Mahal,' or Palace of the Winds, will be our sunset scenery.
Dag 5: Jaipur & Agra
Enjoy a good night's sleep today! After breakfast, we'll continue our photo tour to Agra, where we'll capture the world-famous Taj Mahal in its most unique way. We'll use the sunset to photograph the Taj Mahal in beautiful light from the rear garden.
Dag 6: Agra Taj Mahal
We get up early to capture the Taj Mahal at its best with the magical light of sunrise. We also arrange a model in traditional clothing who will pose for your lens. The afternoon is free to spend as you wish. In the evening we take the night train to Varanasi, a true highlight of the trip.
Dag 7: Varanasi
After arrival and check-in at the hotel we set off to photograph Varanasi in all its authentic splendor. This is the real India, here time has stood still. We visit the Dashashwamedh Ghat, bordering the holy river Ganges. Here we encounter pilgrims and Hindu holy men, unique in their existence.
Dag 8&9: Varanasi
We leave early to capture the spiritual character of Varanasi in beautiful light from the water. The sunrise accompanies us with the first rays of the sun, which is a beautiful sight from the river. In the afternoon we explore the numerous alleys where traditional crafts are still practiced. Spectacular photos guaranteed. With the practice of the day before I have the opportunity to capture the Ganga Arti ceremony in a special way.
Day 10: Varanasi
We bezoeken de Dashashwamedh Ghat, grenzend aan de heilige rivier Ganges. Hier treffen we o.a. pilgrims and Hindu holy men aan, die samen met de lokale bevolking offers uitbrengen tijdens het Chhat festival. Veel puurder dan dit kunnen we het je niet voorschotelen. Temidden van het Chhat festival en de rituelen voel je de cultuur helemaal, de juiste vibe voor het maken van culturele foto’s.
Day 11: Varanasi
De authentieke en oudste stad van India is er eentje die je zult omarmen. Je kunt hier dagen blijven fotograferen en je ogen uitkijken, het is onze favoriete plek in India. We hebben tijd en ruimte om jullie laatste wensen om te zetten in sprankelende foto’s, alvorens we richting Delhi vertrekken voor de terugreis.
Day 12: Return home
Afhankelijk van je terugvlucht staat deze dag in het teken van aankomst in Nederland. We kijken terug op een enerverende reis om nooit te vergeten, met vele mooie momenten en natuurlijk sprankelende foto’s.

Practical
- You have to be in normal shape
- We meet in Delhi, at a time to be determined
- If you have any food allergies or diets, please inform me about this.
- Non-photographing partners are more than welcome to join. We visit a lot of authentic, non-touristic sites that are worth a visit.
- During this diverse program, you’ll also have a lot of free time.
- Together we decide which workshops to do.
- You can pay with the Indian Rupie or take out money from a bank with your credit card or debit card.
- You need a visa which you can apply for online. If requested, we can help you with the application.
- You need vaccinations for India. Please check carefully and on time which ones you need.
- This is a country program, you have to book the flight separately. If requested, we can help you with your booking.

- The climate is favorable to us at this time of year. On the site of Climate information We travel during dry season. The weather is to our advantage with pleasant temperatures.
