Workshop macro photography

In the workshop macro photography, we go on a hunt for micro life, to photograph in a special way. Be amazed at how sharply you can capture the smallest details. The world in detail is just amazingly beautiful! We do this in the Maasduinen, a fantastic National Park, one of the most beautiful nature reserves in the Netherlands.

Some of the aspects you will learn are: color, lighting, camera settings, technique, correct background and flash technique. All this while the world awakens at the first rays of the sun, between the chirping birds. You are guaranteed to go home with spectacular photos and a great experience!

What does the course of the workshop look like?

After a short introduction, we discuss some theories about macro photography. We also go through our equipment and the location. Your knowledge doesn't matter, both beginners and advanced photographers are welcome. We walk to the most beautiful places of the National Park, to capture the magic of sunrise in combination with macro photography. Even when the sun is up in the sky, we still have more than enough natural elements to photograph. Afterwards, we rest ourselves and the cameras while enjoying a drink. You can ask questions and also feedback on your best photos will be given.

• If you have a tripod, bring it with you.
• Do you have a flash or ring flash? Bring it along!
• Loan tripod and flash are available if you don't have your own.
• If you don't have a macro lens, but you do have extension rings or macro conversion lenses? Bring them along!
• The workshop is also very educational if you don't have a macro lens yet, but want to learn about macro photography.
• We have a drink together afterwards. You can bring your own drinks for during the workshop.
• We walk about 4 to 5 kilometers, so make sure to wear appropriate shoes.
• You can park at the Jagersrust car park in Velden.
• We start on time, so be there!
