More than photography trips
Tanzania, the place to be for wildlife. The vast landscape of the Serengeti and the delightful Ngorogoro are parks to enjoy at the most. The giant Baobab trees in Tarangire offer a gorgeous décor where wildlife finishes off this showpiece of nature. The famous Masai Mara culture lives on in Tanzania and you have the opportunity to meet the Hadzabe, the last of the bushmen!
What will you be photographing during this 10 day photography tour through Tanzania?
A small selection of highlights:
During this trip we can enjoy all the beauty Tanzania has to offer. We travel during the low season, this way we aren’t bothered by the many jeeps scouting for the best view points. We always have the best spot and we can decide ourselves how long we spend time with the animals to get the best photos. The landscape is luscious green, what gives that extra little touch to wildlife photography. You can see the animals just as good as in any other season. This ‘wildest’ photography tour in Tanzania is an unforgettable experience. The shoots with the Masai warriors and the Hadzabe are unique and you have the chance to meet them!

You arrive at Kilimanjaro airport in Tanzania. You organize yourself a taxi to the Airport Hotel. We meet later after we arrive with the group who booked the Kenya+Tanzania trip. After everybody arrived, we will have a welcome meeting.
Day 2: Nairobi – Tarangire
Early morning our Tanzania adventure starts. After we arranged all permits, we head out to Tarangire National Park, where we have the entire afternoon and sunset for our first game drive.
Day 3: Tarangire National Park
We get up early to make use of the magical sunrise lights. We have a full day of wildlife spotting and start with tracking lions, who are most active in the morning. This park is a beauty with its giant baobab trees.
We spend the night in the park and have all the time we need to photograph sunset.
Day 4: Tarangire – Lake Eyasi
Early birds today, we don’t want to miss sunrise. This is only possible if you stay in the park and we have it almost completely to ourselves. We can enjoy this gorgeous park the entire morning. IN the afternoon we go to Lake Eyasi where we’ll have a private photo shoot with the locals.
Day 5: Hadzabe – Lake Manyara
In the morning we meet the Hadzabe, the last of the bushmen. This authentic tribe dates back to the time of the cavemen. We’ve arranged a photo shoot with these unique men.
After the shoot we head out to Lake Manyara, which is known for its distinctive pink color, caused by the minerals in the water.
Day 6: Serengeti National Reserve
After a heart breakfast we go to Serengeti National Reserve. This famous wildlife reserve with its vast landscapes honors its fame. We use every minute until sundown and spend the night in the park. Eventually we fall in sleep, listening to the sounds of the animals. We also have a great chance of seeing the great migration that runs until October.
Day 7: Serengeti National Reserve
From sunup to sundown, we have the entire day to spend in the park to make full use of the best lighting of the day. Lions are guaranteed and we’ll do anything to also capture leopards and cheetahs on film. A day filled with excitement and sensation, the Serengeti offers it all!
Day 8: Serengeti – Ngorogoro
Early birds again. We spend one last morning in Serengeti, before we head out to the magical Ngorogoro Crater. This wonder of nature has a lot to offer, the entire Big Five is present here. Not forgetting the landscape, what a gorgeous background for our photography.
In the evening we have arranged a private photo shoot with the Masai warriors.
Day 9: Ngorogoro Crater – Arusha
We go into the crater for an 8 hour game drive. You’ll have the unique opportunity to see the many lions up-close and personal. The landscape is breathtaking, so don’t forget to bring your all-round or wide angle lenses.
